In February of 2018, Tanner Richard Craft had an idea for something big: he would start a production company of his own right here in Saint Louis. He would call it "Bomb Squad", after a line from a Spider-Man video game.

Tanner listed the name on the poster of several of his independent projects as a joke, but the idea otherwise lay dormant.

Fast forward to January of 2021. With Family Video going out of business, Tanner wanted to make a final video paying respects to the video store era. He needed a team that could shoot, edit, and produce on the fly. He assembled a group of eleven other extremely talented St. Louis based filmmakers, and Bomb Squad Productions was born!
